Wedding of Jenny & Dale 31st July 2009

Today was the Wedding of Jenny & Dale, they met a few years back when they both came to Loughborough University. When they decided to tie the knot they wanted to do it back where it first started. There Venue was the beautiful Prestwold Church & Hall for the Reception afterwards.

The Groom, Dales Buttonhole of a Champagne coloured Rose, white Freesia & looped Grass the match the other Bouquets.

Jenny's Hand-tied Bouquet of Mini white & cerise Gerbera, champagne coloured spray Roses, 'Poison' Roses, white Freesia & looped Grass around the outside. Her Bouquet was finished with white ribbon.

The Bridesmaids Bouquets of Mini cerise Gerbera, champagne coloured spray Roses with looped grass around the outside. I also managed to find some ribbon that matched the Bridesmaids dresses.

The Pedestal in the Church. In this I used white Delphiniums, cream Stocks, cerise Mini Gerbera, 'Poison' Roses, Champagne coloured Roses & spray Roses & Greenery.

The inside of Prestwold Church is really beautiful. It's a lovely little Church.

The Window Ledges were decorated with chunky Church candles, Mini white Gerbera & Ivy.

I did a large all round arrangement that sat on top of the font. I used white Delphiniums, cream Stocks, cerise Mini Gerbera, 'Poison' Roses, Champagne coloured Roses & spray Roses & Greenery.

Two of my artificial Bay Trees were placed outside the entrance to the Church & decorated with fresh flowers & ribbon to match.

The view from the Church of the countryside, it was a lovely day even though the sky doesn't look it!

The Bay Trees were decorated with white Mini Gerberas & Champagne coloured Roses & finished with the teal coloured ribbon which didn't want to stay as a bow!

I loved their cake, the card at the bottom says 'To Kenya' as this is where they went on their Honeymoon.

More photographs of the table centres!

The Tables were named after Halls at Loughborough University as this is where they met.

These next photographs are the professional ones that Jenny & Dale had. Their photographer was Danny Green, take a look at his website when you get a chance. There are some amazing photographs of nature that he has taken.

Wedding of Michelle & Mark 25th July 2009

Today was the Wedding of Michelle & Mark.
Michelle & her Mum, Dianne came into the Shop & booked the date quite along time ago. Michelle knew what she wanted & it was pink! Throughout the run up to the Wedding her Bouquet colour kept changing from pink to cream & back again but she finally decided on cream. The Church was a lovely quaint one in the village of Normanton - On - soar & it sat on the bank of the River Soar. The reception was at The Hilton East Midlands Airport Hotel.
We moved all the Church flowers onto the reception after the ceremony to get full use out of them, this was quite interesting on a very hot day in July!

The Mother of the Groom's Buttonhole of a cream Rose & Spary Rose.

The Mother of the Bride wore a Red Rose & Spray Rose Buttonhole.

Michelle's hand-tied Bouquet of cream 'Vendella' Roses finished with Ivory ribbon.

Michelle wanted asked for small pink flower detail to be placed randomly between the Roses to match with the pink & cream theme.

The Bridesmaids (all 6 of them!) carried hand-tieds of cream 'Vendella' Roses with Diamantes placed in a few of the Roses.

The Flower Girls held silver Wands with a cerise pink Gerbera attached & pale pink trailing ribbon.

Arrangement placed on the Window Sill in an array of summer flowers in pinks & creams.

A large arrangement of cream 'Vendella' Roses, cerise pink Gerbera & stocks, white Delphinium, pink Hydrangea, variegated Hosta Leaves, soft Ruscus & Aralia Leaves was placed up high on a shelf in the stonework.

The Photographer doing a better job than me!

Michelle & her Bouquet with a very big grin!

The room was transformed into pink & cream heaven with chair ties, table runners & balloons!

The Tables had small Vases of Roses - cream 'Vendella', 'Barbie' & 'Sweet Avalanche' which all looked very pretty together with the pink table runner & chair ties.

Wedding of Louise Clifton 24th July 2009

I only had this Wedding booked about a month before the date as there was a problem with the original Florist, so it was a bit nerve racking getting the flowers as Louise wanted them. They also live in London so it was all done via e-mail & the telephone!

The Groom's Buttonhole of a dark purple 'Schwartzwalder' Calla Lily, white Spray Roses, Asparagus Fern & variegated Ivy Leaves to complement Louise's Bouquet.

The Mother of the Groom, Sandra wore a white 'Akito' Rose & purple Alstromeria Buttonhole.

Guest Buttonholes of a white 'Akito' Rose & variegated Ivy Leaves.

I made two Buttonholes for Louise's Mum as she couldn't decide whether to have Alstromeria or the Spray Roses, she was wearing turquoise so I added a small bow to match.

Louise's trailing Bouquet of dark purple 'Schwartzwalder' Calla Lilies, white Oriental Lilies, white Spray Roses, Asparagus Fern & variegated Ivy.

Ready & waiting to be delivered!

The Bridesmaids carried an over the arm Bouquet of Ivory & dark purple 'Schwartzwalder' Calla Lilies with trailing Bear Grass & they also wore a Corsage of purple Alstromeria & white Spray Roses.

Here is the happy couple outside Beaumanor Hall showing off Louise's Bouquet.

Wedding of Holly & James 24th July 2009

Holly & James chose Sutton Bonington Hall for their Venue & I can see why. It is the baby sister of Prestwold Hall but is still as beautiful!

James' Buttonhole of a cream 'Vendella' Rose with a cream Spray Rose, Fern & varigated Ivy Leafs.

Holly's Bouquet of cream 'Vendella' Roses with varigated Ivy & soft Ruscus running through it. The stems were finished with cream ribbon.

The Bridesmaids carried small Bouquets of cream 'Vendella' Roses finished with cream Ribbon.

I like this photograph of the Bridesmaids holding their Bouquets, you can see how vibrant their dresses are now.

Holly with her Bridesmaids.

The Table arrangements were a wreath ring made up of varigated Pitto, cream 'Vendella' Roses & cream Spray Roses. Then a round glass bowl was placed in the centre & filled with water & Rose petals.
