Wedding of Elena & Jim 5th June

Today was the Wedding of Elena & Jim.

I had met Elena nearly two years ago, they both live in Australia & she was in the UK sorting out the Wedding. Once Elena had flown back to Australia I dealt with her Mum, Janet.
Everything was sorted very quickly as they knew exactly what they wanted & I just needed to meet with Elena when she was back in the UK a month before the Wedding.

They chose Rothley Court Hotel for their Ceremony & Reception. The grounds are wonderful there. We had a VERY hot day on the 5th June so they must have bought the sunshine with them!

Large balls of flowers were placed on top of a clear Vase with a round mirrored plate underneath & tea lights to finish it off.

The colour theme matched the curtains perfectly!

And the carpet!

The Templar Room at has lovely dark panelled walls so the colours worked wonderfully with them.

In the balls I used 'Old Dutch' & 'Vendella' Roses, white Freesia, lime green Viburnum, dark pink Cymbidium Orchids, Eucalyptus & Ivy.

The Top Table arrangement of cream 'Vendella' & 'Old Dutch' Roses, Viburnum, pink Cymbidium Orchids, white Freesia, Eucalyptus & trailing Ivy.

The Top Table arrangement was also used on the Ceremony Table.

Wedding of Laurie & Dave 7th June

The weather was perfect for a Wedding today! And I am pleased because the most sweetest couple were getting married.
The Ladies flowers were delivered to Pillings Lock Marina in Barrow Upon Soar/Quorn (it's kind of in the middle of both!). I hadn't been there before but it was brilliant, I really wanted to sit out in the roasting hot sun on the decking & have some lunch over looking the Marina but duty called!
The Bride & her Bridesmaid's had rented the 'Penthouse' above the restaurant to get ready in.

Buttonholes of white 'Akito' Roses & green Ivy leaves.

Dave, the Groom, had a white 'Akito' Rose with Freesia added to match him special!

The Flower Girls had a Wand of white Freesia, a white 'Akito' Rose Ivy leaves & finished with white ribbon & a trailing bow.

I think they are rather cute!

The Bridesmaid's Bouquets of white 'Akito' Roses finished with white ribbon.

Laurie chose White 'Akito' Roses with white Freesia for her Bouquet. She provided her own ribbon which I finished with a trailing bow.

Looking beautiful in their box!

'Tissued up' & waiting to go!

Wedding of Diane & Jason 30th May

The second Wedding of the Bank Holiday weekend.
Today it was Diane & Jason, they chose a simple & classic theme of cream Roses. The Wedding took place at The Priest House Hotel in Castle Donington.

Diane carried a Hand-tied Bouquet of cream 'Vendella' Roses with variegated Ivy running through & around the Roses & finished with a collar of Hosta Leaves.
