Today is my Dad's Birthday - Happy Birthday Dad!
As my Boyfriend is in Germany on mission 'Snow Eagle', otherwise known as 'Learn how to Ski on the Tax payers money', we decided to go to one of our Gift wholesalers in Lincoln to top up on Mother's Day gifts. Dad was dragged along but secretly he loves it!

A Lasting Tribute
This week has been a sad one filled with creating Funeral tributes.
The most testing was for a family friend, whos Father has passed away, its always harder to do a tribute for somebody that you knew but special at the same time. They asked for a Heart of Red Roses, which I used 'Pole Postion' & spray Roses to match with my favourite Greenery at the moment, Ming Fern.
They also has a Wreath of whites & blues - for a Portsmouth supporter. Here I used 'Avalance' Roses, white mini Gerbera, September, blue Delphinium, Eucalyptus & my favourite Flower of the moment - Muscari.

Happy New Year
Well I have been totally rubbish at keeping this updated recently but I discovered that there are not enough hours in the day in December!
I had a very successful first Christmas in the shop & would like to thank all my customers who have supported me throughout the year.
There was meant to be lots of pictures of all the lovely things I created & sold but that just didn't happen - sorry!!
I shall try my hardest to be a better blogger this year x

Christmas is coming
I'm back after having a wonderful weekend in Gloucester with the other half & friends watching fireworks over the docks & eating sausages cooked on the balcony BBQ.
The folks played shops on Saturday (I was playing with naughty Monkeys at Longleat Safari Park!) & decided to change the Halloween window.
I had a lovely surprise on Monday morning when I saw it for the first time!

I'm with all the people that think November is far to early to think about the dreaded C word, but I didn't want to be the only shop in Loughborough not getting into the festive spirit!

The weekend of Weddings
The weekend of the 11th & 12th of October was quite a busy one.
Firstly on the Saturday I had a Wedding at Barnsdale Lodge at the beautiful Rutland Water.
I only knew I was to be doing this Wedding the week before. Unfortuently the lady that was origionaly doing it was taken very poorly so I was asked to step in & I was very happy to help. I quickly phoned Pam, the Bride, & had a chat with her to reasure her that evrything regarding the flowers were going to be fine & to check if there were any flowers that she liked or disliked. She was lovely & probably the easiest Bride to please ever!
Pam's Hand-tied Bouquet of lemon Roses, lilac Freesia & Gypsophila (God I hate the stuff!!).
