Doesn't he look pretty?!

I have finally got round to having Victor the Van sign written. I am very very very pleased with how he looks! Now people can see that I am a Florist not a plumber.
Look out for him driving around Loughborough.

Wedding of Sarah & Will 19th June

The second Wedding of the weekend was Sarah's, I had been looking forward to doing this Wedding all year! Sarah had chosen to incorporate David Austin Roses into her bouquet. I have always loved these Roses but never had the chance to work with them so when Sarah walked in I was over the moon!

The Roses were delivered on the Thursday before the Wedding in a posh box. The courier man had to sit down when I told him how much moneys worth of Roses were sat in that box!

They came tightly packed & VERY small. I was wondering how & when they were going to look like the big blousy Roses that people love so much.

We took then out of the packaging & they started to open.

Friday morning & they were looking more like it! The smell that was coming out of the box was amazing. I didn't dare took them though!

Ladies Buttonholes of a cream 'Vendela' Rose with pale pink Bouvardia, spray pink Rose & Ivy leaves.

Ladies & Gents Buttonholes.

Will's Mum had a dark grey coloured bag so the pink & cream Roses looked fab against the colour.

Will had a 'Rosalind' David Austin Rose with Ivy leaves & mini variegated Hosta leaves.

All the Buttonholes

Sarah's bouquet was larger than the Bridesmaids & had pink 'Rosalind' David Austin Roses instead of the pink Peonies.

The stems were bound with pink ribbon.

Bouquets & Buttonholes ready in the box.

Goldfish bowls filled with a hand-tied of the flowers from Sarah's bouquet.
These were to be placed on the Tables at the reception.

The Van all packed & ready to go & deliver all the beautiful flowers!

Holy Trinity Church in Ashby de la Zouch was beautiful. It was decorated with pale blue walls so it would work with any colour scheme.

Pew End of a pink Peony, Eucalyptus & finished with a pink trailing bow.
A Pedestal was placed at the back of the Church it was made up of white Delphiniums, pink 'Milano' Roses, pink Peonies, Alliums, Spray Roses, pink Veronica & Greenery.

Wedding of Sue Dore 19th June

The first of the Weekends Weddings was Sue's, her colour theme was pinks & purples.
All the Men's Buttonholes of cream 'Vendela' Roses with Ivy Leaves.

Sue's Mums handbag had a Corsage of a pale pink Peony & cream Roses with greenery.

The Bridesmaids bouquets were pale & cerise pink Peonies, purple Hydrangea, lilac 'Pacific Blue' Roses, pink 'Milano' Roses & cream 'Vendela' Roses finished with variegated Hosta leaves around the outside.

Sues bouquet was slightly bigger than the Bridesmaids & finished with Ivory ribbon.

The Bridesmaid's bouquets were finished with dark purple ribbon.

I love the colour combination of the different shades of pink & purple.

The tables had Birdcages on them. These were decorated with both coloured Peonies, all the Roses, Peony leaves & variegated Hosta leaves.
