Lilies come from the Greek word 'Leiron' which refers to the white Madonna Lily that is believed to have grown out of the milk of the Goddess Hera.
They are available all year round & in many colours & varieties.
Lilies are traditionally given as a 30th Wedding Anniversary flower.
