For example, I recently made up a Bouquet of flowers for a customer who was giving them to his wife for a special Anniversary, I put a few of the Brassica in. From talking to him I got the impression she didn't like 'traditional' flowers so I thought these were something abit different.
OH MY GOSH how I was wrong!! I came into work the next day to find a very nice (major sarcasm used there!) answer phone message from the recipient of the Bouquet & boy she wasn't happy because there were cabbages in it!
I don't know whether it was she just didn't like them or was just plain ignorant & thought I had actually stuck a cabbage in there for the hell of it. The word ungrateful come to mind.
This is one of the many joys of working with the general public, theres nothing as queer as folk!
