Wedding of Laura & Steve 17th April 2010

Today was the Wedding of Laura & Steve.
I have been emailing Laura for well over a year before I meet her, she originally wanted Tulips & Cherry Blossom but that then changed to Peonies.
The Wedding was being held at Sutton Bonington Hall - my favourite venue! It was a glorious day so they would be able to make use of their fantastic gardens.

Laura's & her Bridesmaid's Bouquets

Bridesmaid's Hand-tied Bouquet of Ivory Peonies with variegated Hosta Leaves, the stems were bound with Ivory ribbon to match.

Laura's Bouquet was a Hand-tied of Ivory Peonies with a few very pale pink ones mixed in. Laura wanted the Peonies to be at different stages of opening to give the Bouquet some interest.

The Table Centres were placed on a mirrored plate & then Tea lights were be added as we left.
This plate was 40cm in diameter.

The Table Centres were a round arrangement in Oasis with Ivory Peonies, very pale pink Peonies, white Sweet Peas, blue Hydrangea, variegated Hosta leaves & I used the foliage from the Peonies.

The mantelpiece in the Ceremony room was decorated with small Vases in different sizes, each one had a single Peony head placed in it. There was a couple of picture frames being placed on there also.

The cake was decorated with a sprig of Hydrangea on the top & a Peony on the side to tie in with the Wedding theme.
